Britt Design Group, an award-winning interior design firm based in Austin, TX, is seeking recent graduates or candidates with less than two years of industry experience for an entry-level interior design role. As an entry-level designer, you will work under the daily guidance of a Project Manager or Director, contributing to a range of projects in the high-end residential, multi-family, and hospitality markets, while learning and growing alongside experienced team members. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their design career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Duties include producing drawings in Revit and/or AutoCAD, preparing client proposals and presentations, researching and selecting furniture and finishes, managing procurement administration, supporting client installations, and performing other related support functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work under the daily direction of a Project Manager or Director with limited autonomy

• Complete tasks with supervision - work is reviewed and approved before external issuance

• Manage an individual task list with oversight and prioritization by PM/Director

• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

• Demonstrate professionalism in both internal and external interactions

• Communicate clearly and professionally in written correspondence, particularly via email

• Collaborate with team members, including seeking feedback and mentorship from Designer II colleagues

• Understand and meet expected response times for internal and external project communication

• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture with a collaborative mindset

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture

• 0-2 Years Professional Experience or Internships

• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized

• Revit competency required

• Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs proficiency

• Enscape / Lumion and Photoshop proficiency preferred

• Pursuing NCIDQ Certification is preferred, but not required

• Enthusiasm and dedication are required!
