Originally from Southern California, Audra’s passion for interior design led her to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from San Diego State University. Soon after completing her undergraduate degree, Audra pursued a Master’s Degree in Business Administration to form a balanced foundation for her budding career.

While working for various design firms for the past 20 years, Audra has gained vast experience in high-end residential interior architecture and interior design. Through the harmonious mix of her business background and eye for design, Audra strives to make her client’s dreams a reality through creative design development, technical analysis, and detailed project management.

Audra enjoys international travel and soaking up inspiration from across the globe to bring a unique touch to various design aesthetics.

Shaunn Quayle Austin Interior Designer

Growing up in Austin, Shaunn was heavily influenced by the local art scene. As a practicing artist with a keen eye for detail, she followed her passion and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Texas State University. Upon graduating, Shaunn spent several years acquiring experience on a diverse range of projects including many luxury residential, hospitality and healthcare projects. During her early years as a designer, Shaunn spent several years honing her skills in custom furniture design. In conjunction with her decisive and solution-oriented outlook, her understanding of technical details contributes to her successful execution of a design. Shaunn’s inherent green thumb has coined her the nickname of office “Plant Lady” which she takes very seriously!

In her free time, Shaunn enjoys reading a good memoir or utopian novel, cooking, traveling anywhere and everywhere she can, enjoying days at the beach and spending as much time as she can with her husband and their four tiny Yorkies.

Laurie Martinez Austin interior designer

Laurie D. Martinez

DIRECTOR - COMMERCIAL DESIGN STUDIO

Originally from South Texas, Laurie moved to Florida in 2009 and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. She has worked on diverse projects, from multifamily and senior living to hospitality design. Laurie’s meticulous attention to detail enables clear, effective communication for clients to confidently dialogue and collaborate on ideas. In addition, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and American Bulldog, spending time outside, road-tripping, or just hanging out watching a good movie in her free time.

Elvira Lathrop, RID, NCIDQ

DESIGNER II

Elvira is an Austin transplant from South Texas. Good design has always been part of Elvira’s life, having grown up with an architect dad who instilled a great sense of pride in creating beautiful and functional spaces. Elvira has a passion for improving people’s lives through design. She is thoughtful in her design choices and is always mindful of how the environments she creates can have a positive impact on the people who inhabit them.

She graduated with a Master of Interior Design degree from The University of Texas at Austin in May 2022 where she received the School of Architecture’s “Interior Design Student Award, ASID Certificate of Honor,” presented to the top-ranked Interior Design graduate. During her tenure in the program, she was recognized as a Metropolis Future 100 and was one of nine finalists in the national ASID Student Portfolio Competition. Prior to transitioning careers into the design field, she received a Bachelors in Government with Honors from UT Austin and a Master of Arts in Political Science from Texas State University. She worked in the public sector leading specialized subsidized housing programs at the Housing Authority of the City of Austin. Since graduating she has become licensed and is a Registered Interior Designer. Outside of work, Elvira enjoys classic films, the live music scene around town, and spending quality time with her husband and two sons.

DESIGNER II + PROJECT MANAGER, LEED GREEN ASSOCIATE

Hayley obtained her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a minor in Architecture as well as her Master of Science in Environmental Design from Texas Tech University (wreck ‘em Tech!). She is currently working towards finishing her NCIDQ certification to become a Registered Interior Designer. Additionally, she received her LEED Green Associate certification in June of 2018.

The idea of making the built environment a better place for all users is her passion that drives her. Her end goal is always her client’s happiness. With a focus on luxury residential design, Hayley strives to ensure the designs she implements will convey timeless beauty, functionality, and unique personalities. She prides herself on her keen attention to detail and getting into the intricacies of each project - she can’t resist a good spreadsheet! Outside of the office, Hayley enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, passionately rooting for her sports teams, cuddling with her fur babies Jaxon and Cooper, and growing her LEGO collection with her husband, Hunter.

Savannah Buttler Austin interior designer

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Savannah is a proud and true Austinite. She attended Texas Tech University where she obtained a Bachelor of Interior Design with a Minor in Architecture as well as a Master of Business Administration before moving back to Austin. Her love for interiors began at an early age while watching her mom work in Luxury Residential Real Estate and continued to grow as she progressed through her education and career.

Savannah focuses on the Luxury Residential sector of Interior Design and strives to create layered and rich interiors while keeping an organic yet cohesive feel to the spaces. She loves to connect with her clients and create long-lasting relationships as she helps make their house truly feel like a home. Outside of work, Savannah loves to spend her time wakesurfing or wakeboarding on Lake Austin, playing pickleball with her family and friends, antique shopping, or traveling!

She is honored to have been selected as Interior Design Magazine’s 30 under 30 Class of 2023-2024.

Mindy Hogan

DESIGNER II + ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER

A Texas native, born in Childress and raised in Willis, Mindy has always had a passion for creativity and design. She spent the first 17 years of her career in retail management and visual merchandising, where she developed a deep appreciation for aesthetics, storytelling through space, and customer experience. After deciding to pursue a lifelong interest in architecture, Mindy returned to college and graduated with honors in Environmental Design from Texas A&M, Class of 2019.

In 2020, Mindy moved to Austin amid the pandemic to begin her professional journey in architecture, focusing first on educational and healthcare projects at a commercial firm. In 2022, she transitioned into residential architecture, where she discovered a new passion for creating intimate, personalized spaces. Most recently, Mindy has made an exciting shift into interior design—a natural evolution that allows her to blend her background in visual merchandising with her architectural training to design spaces that are both beautiful and functional.

Outside of work, Mindy is a proud wife, mother of two, and dog mom to a spirited pug named Harley.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Anni’s fascination with interior design led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the School of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin. As a descendant of Finnish ​artisans, Anni’s passion for interior design has been inspired by her early introduction to Scandinavian design and architecture. After moving to the city and connecting with people from all walks of life, Anni discovered her interest in merging interiors with their surrounding contexts while prioritizing user comfort and accessibility at the forefront of design. In addition, Anni is passionate about utilizing 3D modeling and visualization as valuable design tools. She is excited to incorporate new and advancing technologies into her design process as the future emerges. Outside the office, you can find Anni enjoying board games with friends, binging a new favorite TV show alongside her cat, Tweak, or spending time outdoors exploring and sketching the scenes of the city.

Marie Graw

DESIGNER II

Marie holds a Master’s of Interior Design degree from the University of Texas School of Architecture. She values authenticity in design, honesty of materials, and sustainability.

Prior to her path in interiors, she graduated from DePauw University with a degree in Sociology followed by a career in the marketing and advertising industry.

Marie was born and raised in Dallas, spent a few years in the Midwest, and loves living in Austin. When she’s not designing, you can find her hiking with her dogs Hank and Duffy, seeing as much live music as possible, making furniture, and vintage shopping.

Alex Marine, WELL AP, LEED Green Associate

DESIGNER I

Growing up in a Russian-American home in Germany, Alex developed a love for cultural diversity and creative expression through art and design early on. After moving to Texas in her adolescent years, she went on to attend Texas Tech University, earning bachelor degrees in Interior Design and Advertising, as well as a master’s in Environmental Design. Alex is WELL AP and LEED Green Associate accredited and is focused on advancing her career in interior design and preparing for the NCIDQ exam.

Alex finds inspiration everywhere—whether she’s exploring a new hobby, going on a road trip, or attending an art gallery. You’ll probably find her traveling, admiring beautiful cars, making art, trying new restaurants with people she loves, or raving about her favorite animal, the American Bison. She is thrilled to get to know Austin and become a part of the local scene.

Kelley grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, where she discovered her love of art and design from an early age. Seeking an opportunity to explore a new city and meet new people, she moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas, where she graduated from the School of Architecture with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in May of 2022. She allows her designs to be informed by the environment around her and draws much inspiration from the layered components of Austin’s vibrant and innovative city. Kelley enjoys being outdoors as much as possible in her free time, from running Lady Bird Trail and doing watersports on Lake Austin to snow-skiing in the winter. Spending time outside and pulling from the natural elements encountered further drives Kelley’s passion for organic interiors, creating memorable experiences for inhabitants while ensuring the spaces relate to their surrounding world.

Melissa is a native Houstonian whose career highlights include varied professional experiences in education, psychology, and design. Her experience with children and young adults has helped her better understand human behavior and the importance of sensibility of cognitive development and environmental influences. Her interest and passion for design broadened when she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, where she pursued her BFA in Interior Design from San Jose State University. In addition, she has experience designing tenant improvements for tech companies and creating furniture solutions in the commercial design industry.

She possesses a great appreciation for design and environmental awareness. She is passionate about enhancing spaces and bringing functional designs to life. She enjoys caring for and propagating plants, being outdoors, volunteering, traveling, and spending time with her family and dog, Bentley.

Chloe Hendrick

DESIGNER I

Born and raised in Texas, Chloe has always had an eye for design. Spending her childhood sketching floor plans and constantly rearranging her bedroom furniture, Chloe’s love for interior design drove her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design from the University of Arkansas. She now aspires to get NCIDQ certified and earn her LEED Green Associate credential, reflecting her commitment to both great design and environmental sustainability. Chloe is very passionate about incorporating inspiration from her travels into her work. Her favorite place she’s ever been is a tie between Rosignano Marittimo in Italy and the Monterey Peninsula in California, and her study abroad experience in Florence only deepened her design creativity along with her love of timeless architecture.

A little bit about Chloe, she is an Aquarius, her favorite color is gray-blue and her favorite animal is a highland cow. When she isn’t working she enjoys going downtown, going to Barton springs, and seeing live music. She’s excited about the future, of becoming a certified designer, and becoming a true Austin local.

Jeff Capra

DIRECTOR - OPERATIONS

Jeff’s career is highlighted by several distinct professional experiences in business and education. After graduating from Cornell University, he spent 18 years in corporate human resources and labor relations with Ingersoll-Rand, Motorola, Inc, and Freescale Semiconductor. Jeff then left the business world, went back to school to earn a Master’s Degree in European History, and has taught U.S. History, Government, and Economics. In 2018, he joined Britt Design Group in an official capacity overseeing HR, Information Technology, Facilities, and overall firm process management. In addition, Jeff enjoys reading history books, cycling, and spending quality time with his fantastic wife and son in his free time.

Debbie Pringle

DIRECTOR - FINANCE

Debbie’s diverse career has emphasized financial analysis and business management. After living and working in London, New York, and Princeton, she finally returned to her home state of Texas. As Finance Director for Britt Design Group, Debbie draws on her years of experience in investment management, financial analysis, non-profit organization fundraising, and art gallery management. She particularly enjoys working in a creative environment where she can share her strong analytical skills in helping the business thrive. She majored in Finance and International Business at The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin before earning her Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Debbie and her husband, Andrew, enjoy traveling to visit their daughters in Brooklyn, and London, and supporting Debbie’s beloved Longhorns.

Amy Love

PROCUREMENT MANAGER

A native Texan, Amy graduated with a BSFCS in Interior Design from Texas State University. Driven by an interest in green design and healthy living, she founded and acted as the Emerging Green Builders student organization president. Her role as Procurement Manager allows her to utilize her education in interior design and her work experience in retail management. In her free time, Amy enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with her husband, children, and two dogs.

Susie Roselle

MARKETING MANAGER

Susie Roselle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Smith College and has over 25 years of professional digital and print design experience. She has worked as a web designer for frierson + me ad agency in New York, a freelance designer for Estee Lauder, an art director for Gap Online division in San Francisco, and most recently as an independent web/graphic designer creating brand-aligned, bespoke design for clients all over the country. Originally from Ithaca, NY, Susie now resides in Austin with her husband and son. When she’s not working, she can be found cooking, painting, playing tennis, running volunteering, traveling, sending her daughter a college care package, or doing some kind of home improvement project.

Olivia Gonzales

OFFICE OPERATIONS AND LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Olivia is a proud graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with her Bachelor’s in Public Relations. After gaining experience at a PR agency for two years, she pivoted into the interior design world, blending her passions for business, communications, and people relations. Olivia enjoys supporting others, tackling challenges, and working in an environment that fosters both creativity and analytical thinking. Outside of work, she loves unwinding at home with her boyfriend, going to hot yoga with her friends, hosting dinner parties, diving into a good thriller novel, and traveling.

Alysha Haggerton

FINANCE MANAGER

Alysha holds a bachelors in construction management from Texas A&M. As Finance Manager at Britt Design Group, she pulls from her 20 years experience working in Private Equity, and as in-house Finance for numerous Fortune 500 and mid-sized businesses. Alysha has a breadth of personal and professional skills ranging from her childhood years on her family’s working ranch in South Texas to graphic design at her parents’ print shop and living in cooperative housing for over a decade. Since her time in Austin, Alysha has chaired grassroots organizations influencing policy changes on land-use and transit reforms and headed local chapters of professional women and finance groups like Ladies Get Paid and Factora. Together with her partner Eric, they enjoy making community with friends and for their son Roland through shared meals and art projects ranging from light projections to fiber arts.

Hank and Duffy, our Co-Directors of Security, keep a watchful eye on office comings and goings—unless there's a squirrel outside, then all bets are off. Aside from performing perimeter patrols, they offer quiet sweetness, soulful eyes, and perfectly timed cuddles to anyone in need of a mood boost. Together, they keep the office safe, spirits high, and the treat bag under close surveillance.
