Contemporary Ranch Home Embracing Functionality and Natural Beauty

The vision for this project was to create a contemporary ranch home that prioritized functionality while celebrating the beauty of the working farm and cattle ranch. The clients, who acquired the property several years ago, aimed to build a 5,000 square foot main house and separate guest house that blended modern design with low maintenance features and luxurious comfort. The connection to the land was paramount.

Wood, stone, plaster, steel, and concrete. These materials create an honest and transparent aesthetic that complements the rugged beauty of the landscape, emphasizing a sense of harmony between the interior and exterior.
