Austin PBS

An Iconic Institution

Britt Design Group transformed the new Austin PBS headquarters into a vibrant, hospitality-driven space that reflects the brand’s rich history of education and entertainment. Balancing the iconic Austin PBS and Austin City Limits brands, the design features moody yet welcoming interiors that are playful yet refined.

Custom furnishings, modular seating, and versatile millwork elements support a dynamic range of uses, from productions and fundraisers to rentable event spaces and everyday work. Thoughtfully reimagined areas like the green room, which doubles as a meeting and event space, and a flexible, multi-functional lobby embody the innovative spirit of Austin PBS.

With its comfortable yet stylish (and durable) furnishings, the Green Room is well-suited for anything from hosting VIP guests taping in Studio 6A, prepping for productions and events or even board meetings. It’s become a big draw for people interested in renting space and a favorite stop on the Austin PBS tour.

"The Britt Design team was a pleasure to work with. Their ability to bring our vision for our green room and our archive room to life was more than anyone could have ever dreamed of. The white glove treatment and project management was helpful especially for a smaller organization. The proof is in the final product. There is not one person that is not mesmerized by our renovations and design work. Honestly, there is no swankier green room in Austin!"
