Elm House (On the Boards)

European Influence, Austin Spirit

Set in Austin’s Tarrytown neighborhood, Elm House brings Old World character to a refined modern residence. European-inspired architecture and an organic, transitional interior come together through slurried brick, honed limestone, aged copper, French oak, and limewashed finishes, giving the home a sense of history balanced by a fresh, modern point of view.

ARCHITECT: Sam Burch

BUILDER: Taylor Wilson Construction

Natural wood cabinetry, a furniture-inspired island and rich, handcrafted finishes bring warmth and character to the kitchen.

Carved wood, hand-finished surfaces and aged brass create an intimate, jewel-box moment in the powder bath.

Warm finishes and subtle details give the primary hall its own sense of place while connecting it to the rest of the home.

In the primary bathroom, we layered natural stone, warm metals and softly textured finishes to create a serene, timeless retreat.

The office draws on Spanish architectural details with warm wood, plaster and a distinctive beamed ceiling.
